A friend and I that go to school together have been working on this project for over a year now, we have a working prototype of a generator created that does not require gas to produce electricity. We have done numerous presentations and people get all excited about it, but it has been very difficult to find funding to get this product to a market. It is almost as if people are scared of change, and do not want to try something new. We need help funding the final developments of this product to make it look commercial. It is currently made up of all sorts of gadgets, but it works!! You can power a computer, a refrigerator and all sorts of household appliances without ever plugging this thing in (and no its not solar or wind powered either).This has been tested by the engineering department at a university near by and is proven to work- we can show you. We can even make one on a larger scale to power a home, we just need financial support. Can anyone make any suggestions or lead us in the right direction? we have a us patent. We had an attorney but we are just 2 college kids with little money, not many attorneys will work before being paid unless they share your dream and we have not found one who does just yet :) I have sent letters and email to so many companies and R&D Firms, but still no response. I have even tried contacting politicians- but nothing yet :( Sorry I can not share every detail of it online for confidentiality reasons. When ever we do a presentation, contracts must be signed, its a dirty world out there. But we are willing to meet with people who can possibly help us.

I thought McCain was a Republican and McCain supported the bill to pass and it didn't because only 1/3 of his party voted for the bail out. And Obama who is a Democrat who also supported the bill to pass had 2/3 of his party vote for it... So, how come McCain doesn't make a speech blaming Republicans since they didn't agree with him on the bill? Is that hypocritical, or am I just getting confused?

Is it just me or is there a reoccuring theme between the 1980's savings and loan scandal and the current economic crisis facing the country...Is there any other similarities other than the obvious. Shouldn't we have seen this one coming? Or am I way off base? I see a common thread of greed and very poor or no oversight...what's the comparison if there is any?

hat happened to the Japanese-Americans after the were released from th internment camps during WWII? Like where did most of them settle? How was there economic status? Job openings? How werethey viewed by the rest of America? I also heard that the gov. gave a certain amount of money to the citizens that were placed in those camps as an apology was that true? About three weeks ago I had unprotected sex, but I'm on the pill. I had missed a day and didnt make it up, but I hadnt planned on this happening and I didnt think he'd actually ejaculate inside me, let alone twice. I thought I'd be fine, and I'm pretty sure I'm okay, but I've been smelling EVERYTHING lately, I'm peeing at least 5-7 times a day, my breasts are incredibly sore and are very full, and my nipples have been hard out of nowhere. Also, around the day after/a couple days after, I was having white clumpy discharge that didnt itch or smell, and after a day, it was gone. I bought a pregnancy test online since it was cheaper and I didnt want to waste the money if I'm not, and I'll still take it (I ordered four), but today I got my period. Well, what LOOKS like my period. It looks like the beginning of my period. I had some brown discharge and its a light red color, and not too heavy. Could I still be pregnant even though it appears I've gotten my period? The bleeding started around two and a half / three hours ago, so I put a pad in when it started to see if it was going to end up heavy. I just went to check because I had to use the bathroom, and there was nothing on the pad. It was fine. The blood is still there when I wipe though.

So here's the problem: I have a Mac os x version 10.3.9 and an iPod nano 3rd generation. Apparently, my computer is not compatible with it as it says on the "system requirements." I want to know if there is a way i could use my nano on my computer. I can't upgrade to tiger because I don't have any money. Also..i saw some things like floola, yamipod and sharepod-> tried floola but doesn't work, yamipod either, and sharepod is for windows. PLEASEE i want to use my ipod. *When i connect my ipod, the computer only charges it. The ipod icon does not appear on the desktop or anywhere*

ever since the digital interface was installed, the three major companies at&t , comcast , RCN have all messed withe this item at the end of the alley( digital interface) and every time the system slows and its reported they come out to fix it and then the next company is out a few days later and it get slower and then the next company and then even slower than molasses in january, does anyone know how to get around this problem ? RCN refuses to fix it and give credit for the lax service which cost money, and Business if it takes three times the time to do the same work

They say to follow your dreams, and that's what i'm doing. Please help me out. PS: I'm not some try hard trying to be some video girl and be 'famous' for the money. I want to be known and acknowledged for what i'm good at. Please Note: I can sing, dance & act. I know a lot of you will probably be thinking- "Ugh. i bet she can't even sing or dance or whatever, she just wants to be famous." But this is not true. I am the lead in the school choir, and won a talent quest when i sang angels by christina aguilera. I have been dancing professionally for 12 years, and i auditioned for a dance company representing my city, which i got into. I have been done acting training for 10 years, i have won 3 speech competitions, and been the lead role in 4 plays casted by my areas theatre company. How can i get into the music and acting industry?? And do you think i have a chance? Please help me out. Thanks a lot. =D

hi.. i play the guitar for almost 5 years now..and i feel that i never progress...i see a lot of ads on the net like learn and master guitar and jamorama..the thing is, i dont have the money for it...where can i learn with the same lessons and videos of these two? also, just another question..how come when i pluck the guitar,,,some of the strings wont make the sound.it just buzzes..my fingers are blocking it..any tips to get this fixed?posture?
