Open Question: I’m looking for a solution for my debt.?

Right now I owned a couple of small payments, and I'm trying to put them all in one big one so I can pay these people back first then I would be paying back to the financial institution month by month. I've already heard from others that I should ask people around me b/c it's better not to borrow from outside source and also the duration that I'm set for paying back. So is there any recommend ways or places that I can actually sit down and talk to people face to face. I've already try the major banks but none of them are able to approve my loan. I live in Northern California. Thanks.

Loans and Your Credit Score

The mcredit crunch is well and truly here! If you fall into the poor credit category that increasing numbers of US citizens are finding themselves in then try not to worry as there are ways that you can still obtain credit cards and loans to help repair your credit rating. Because you need to borrow money to rebuild your credit rating but cannot get one things may look a little tough, but there are things you can do. While it still possible to obtain loans with poor credit scores, having to suffer its consequences such as paying a variety of fees and conditions and getting undesirable interest rates which can be higher is difficult, but there is a strategy you should be following.

Should you be fortunate enough to be given a loan, factors like the annual percentage rate and whether or not your home will be used as security are important to consider. You should be aware that with the help of the internet, you can always find consumer websites that specializes in facilitating poor credit loans with the motive of finding you the best deals and terms as well as the right firm to help you ease the troubles away. This is also a good way to stop the problem of making your credit score worse as each time you apply it goes on your record and can lower your credit score. To make matters worse, some loan applicants create their own problem by accepting a loan and then turning it down for another that appears to have improved terms etc.

Probably the easiest and most convenient way to rebuild your credit rating is to use a credit card because the financial institutions can see that regular monthly instalments are being made and assess your credit worthiness on this. Once again you will probably more for the privilege of having one of these cards and each issuer will have their own terms and conditions so it is worthwhile checking each one out first. Some credit cards have a high income level for applicants so be careful before you apply for a credit card which requires a higher income than you receive as it will be wasted and will go against your credit score. Once people have shown that they are responsible enough in handling their credit, it is more likely that an increase in the amount of available credit on a person’s card is to be made however, this is not always a good idea and can be risky to what you have gained, especially if you are trying to repair your credit rating.

Although many people may not be able to qualify for a home loan despite the fact they may need the money for important remodelling work, using a home loan can be another method to improve a credit score but for those who really cant make it, they should at least try applying for a loan from a bad credit mortgage lender who should be able to help. While looking at the interest rates on a mortgage loan, do not make your decision purely based on the interest rate as normally there are other factors that will affect the final amount you pay. Regardless of the fact that having a poor credit score an really mess up your life, it is still quite a relief to know that we can still get credit in the form of a loan or credit card and having an auto loan can also be arranged as well. Where the situation does not look as if it can be settled this easily then it is worth seeking the assistance of a debt counsellor who may suggest a debt consolidation loan as the way forward.

Open Question: hey Obama supporters…please explain this.?

"Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama's senior advisers have drawn up plans to lower expectations for his presidency if he wins next week's election, amid concerns that many of his supporters are harbouring unrealistic hopes of what he can achieve." I'll tell you why. More then 50% of what he says. Can't actually be achieved. He says what the public wants to hear. He says we need change and hope.... We DO! change in congress. which has a lower approval rating then our president for the past 4 years. Also the dems are majority....just so you bush haters no. and we need hope that liberals stop living in a fantasy land. Yes your ideals might be good. BUT THEY CAN'T BE ACHIEVED...if we make imigration easier. that leads to more (inexpensive) cars being bought more pollution more energy usage...If we make vehicles only hybrids....those are expensive. So how do the poor people afford them...they dont....and our economy gets worse. Clinton set us up for economic failure. Bush just happened to go through it "The sudden financial crisis and the prospect of a deep and painful recession have increased the urgency inside the Obama team to bring people down to earth, after a campaign in which his soaring rhetoric and promises of hope and change are now confronted with the reality of a stricken economy." The Times quoted a senior adviser as saying that the first few weeks of the transition, immediately after the election, were critical, "so there's not a vast mood swing from exhilaration and euphoria to despair." The aide said that Obama himself was the first to realise that expectations were being highly being inflated. sources: http://in.news.yahoo.com/139/20081031/882/twl-obama-draws-plans-to-lower-expectati.html teachers.net/chatboard/topic237751/10.31.08.13.12.15.html flavoroflove.blogspot.com/2008/10/obama-advisers-draw-up-plans-to-lower.html www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,25197,24580926-5013948,00.html by the way i love how cnn and nbc don't say this...yet other countries know also?????? www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/us_elections/article5051118.ece http://www.todayonline.com/articles/284713.asp mmmhmmm funny joke. i hope someone whos mother died of alzheimers punches you square in the nose. your just an example of liberal ignorance. and guess what takin money from rich and given to poor...im sorry my GRANDPA earned his money. grew up in dust bowl...in oklahoma...entered military out of highschool. went to Korea. served as POW in korea after not having his parachute execute. then came back. went to college. got a degree . joined eastman kodak. didnt miss 1 day of work for 8 years. not even when he had a minor stroke. got promoted...then quit....then joined a military broadcaasting station in Vietnam...made lots of money....however we should take it away and give it to poor folks...try hard in school and you won't be poor. America gives you an OPPURTUNITY. not a right to be successful. school is the start.

Open Question: Regarding ADULTERY: Should it be illegal? A crime? why or why not?

I read the article about the korean law that allows for adulterers to be jailed: http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20081030/od_nm/us_adultery_1 It got me thinking... Marriage is a contract that is foundational to society. Should there be a criminal or financial penalty for cheating someone out of the promised return of their reproductive capacity, and 20 years of co-parenting? If you believe that it should be a crime, or illegal, to commit adultery - what should be the penalty? If you believe people should be free to break contracts, even those foundational to society... which other ones are fine to break? we do put people in jail for fraud though... Lying to your spouse while pretending to be fulfilling your contract is the normal means of committing adultery. regarding the guy who said that the government does not need to be involved... nobdy makes anybody get married. it is a freely entered contract between 2 people. they have limited their own freedom, by free choice, for the implied return... If one person limits his/her freedom in exchange for the limit on the other's freedom,.. isn't cheating people something the law is supposed to prevent? Regarding 'keeping prisons open for real criminals'... society bears a high cost from single parent children, and the children themselves bear a high cost... higher than the cost of most of the things people are imprisoned for now.

Open Question: John McCain says, “I have the scars to prove it”, but?

are they from an actual war or crashing planes and costing the government money? Did he start this damned financial crisis that long ago? Might as well play on the computer like everyone else. Not many people on here seem to take this election seriously anyway. While I am an Obama supporter, I don't really care who anyone votes for. I just pray we get someone who can fix this mess we're in. We are all suffering one way or the other. This is just to show that negativity gets us nowhere. I wish both parties the best of luck. Some of the things people are saying on this site should offend them, but it doesn't seem to. Regardless of which party wins, we should just start not responding to some of the bull that people put on here.

Open Question: Which pundit better understands the facts?

This is the wikipedia facts of the 2 major mouthpieces of the 2 main partys. Which one do you believe, based on the education, is better capable of understanding and therefore reporting the facts? Rush Limbaugh: Limbaugh graduated from Cape Central High School, in 1969. His father and mother wanted him to attend college, so he enrolled at Southeast Missouri State University. He dropped out after two semesters and one summer; according to his mother, "he flunked everything", even a modern ballroom dancing class.[4] As she told a reporter in 1992, "He just didn't seem interested in anything except radio."[7 Sean Hannity: Hannity graduated in 1980 from St. Pius X Preparatory Seminary high school, located in Uniondale, New York. Described as "an indifferent student",[4] Hannity dropped out of New York University and Adelphi University for financial reasons. He later decided to pursue a radio career.[3] Rachael Maddow: A graduate of Castro Valley High School in Castro Valley, California, Maddow obtained a degree in public policy from Stanford University in 1994.[2] At graduation she was awarded the prestigious John Gardner Fellowship. She then received a Rhodes Scholarship in 1995 and used it to obtain a D.Phil. in political science from Lincoln College, Oxford University.[3] Al Franken: attended Harvard College and graduated cum laude in 1973 with a bachelor of arts degree. too many credentials to list. hmm...who can display facts more...dropouts or high honors grads.... quick, give the wisdom excuse reps...because as we know, smart people cannot be wise according to larry the cable guy (Bush, the republican mascot) Howl: actually, that is exactly what I am saying. Glad you agree. :-) Michael Savage? thats the best the cons have? lol After graduating from Jamaica High School[4], Savage attended Queens College, where he earned a bachelor's degree in education and sociology. a Batchlors in sociology...lol...thats a joke course..you dare put that next to Maddow, Franken, or even Olbermann? pfft. rewarding mediocrity is a disservice to our species. edit...ahh, he does have some deeper education on further reading. still Maddow blows him flat out of the water...Rhodes Scholar. she wins the world of knowledge. one small issue with Savage...he is off the wall insane. even far right con nuts say he is off the chain.

Open Question: Can I trust my boyfriend?

When I first met my bf he said he had only had an intimate relationship with one other woman. He claimed he has had a hard time dating, which I thought we had in common. I thought we clicked when we first started going out and that this was guy I could trust. A couple months in I started to noticed things. He still had contact with women he used to date. He still had emotional attachments to these women. Now, 6 months down the line I have found out he was actaully still talking flirty and meeting new women to "spend time with". I am told I am over reacting, I shouldn't be so upset. It is getting to the point where I do not believe anything he says. I feel like I can't ask about his where abouts or I'll be repremended. Should I let it go if he WILL NOt delete old emails and phone numbers? If this person says he loves me should I just pretend to believe he has no contact with women of the past? Sometimes I feel so inadequate. I feel if he loves me and wants to be with me why should he have to keep a life line to other women he has had intimate feelings for. After all these women obviously did not want to be with him, but I am still getting hurt. Now I am living with him because I am in a financial bind. He says he wants me to be here but I don't know how true that is. Am I being used because I am the only one who cares about him? Please give me some incite. There is a lot more to the story but that is the bottome line.

Open Question: Can it be that my parents have a divine ability to give a curse ?? ( plz read the entire question before ans)?

Things have happened around us that have put me in doubt that my parents might possibly be having a divine power or ability to give curse ; Since my childhood & even today I ve felt this dominant feeling that God always saw our family as a very special thing to him , & that he even saw me as his very special child ; ANYWAYS , THE REAL PART IS HERE : We moved to an apartment 2 years ago , before that we used to stay in a Chawl ( google it ) , but or neighbors there were very adamant & unfriendly people , To be honest , they were no less than cavemen , The woman was always looking for fights , One day it so happened that she started on a fight with us , It was a festival day , & the reason of fighting was not a very strong one , Now this women while fighting started uttering things that were very unhealthy , To defend our reputation , Mum & dad were also forced to fight , It was not a physical one , But rather a verbal one , This woman ( neighbor ) even went to the extent of taking a slipper & hitting it on my moms face , but was defended by my dad , Now , the entire thing was being watched by the rest of neighbors around us , & it was pretty embarassing , This woman is known for her reputation as a very ill minded , fanatic women , who knows no respect for relations , & the entire people there knew that & I am not boasting but The entire world there also knew how generous my mum & dad were( & the still are ) , & how nice they have taken care of me , their only son ; Now the curse part , Not intendingly , but My mum always used to cry when we were to move to apartment because of loan problems & other financial difficulties , The subject of her pain , she believed was that woman & often subconsciously her curses were targeted towards her , but she never really wished any harm to anybody , ..................Now two years have passed & our financial conditions have much improved by gods grace , & mum doesnt worries that much now , But just a couple of days ago we came to knew that our neighbor ( the womans husband was suffering from Aids ) & today morning the news came that he died at yesterday midnight , NOW , WAS IT A CURSE CAME TRUE OR JUST A COINCIDENCE ?? If you say it was just a coincidence , let me tell you that I ve seen many other times as well that Mums curse has come true ??

Open Question: Im a BS in Chemistry student and wud like to pursue masteral studies?

Hello.im very very much interested to pursue masteral studies in Chemistry or Biotechnology abroad ..Help me what to do cause i also need financial aid ...thank you

Open Question: Are things really that bad?

While the stock market took a big hit earlier this month, it has recovered half of what it lost in just 2 weeks. Gas has been cut in half in 4 weeks. I paid $2.02 a gallon this morning. Did you ever think that things became as bad as they did due to fears of a Obama financial system? I have heard one investor after another tell me they got out due to fears of the cap gains rise and what Obama would do to our economy. Raising taxes is never the answer. Obama talks about plumbers not making $250K. Actually a decent precentage due. Those who put their blood, sweat and tears into building a plumbing company are generating that kind of revenue. They hire people, buy supplies and assist their customer's. All of which puts money back in the governments kitty. Instead the dems would have us give the money to govt, so they can pay the now unemployed plumbers assistant or secretary from the office that the plumber had to lay off to pay for the tax increase. Supply-side or trickle-down, whichever you want to call it, economics works. While Republicans were screaming about Fannie and Freddie three years ago, we have dems on tape telling us that everything was fine and this melt down could not occur. Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and Maxine Waters pontificating from their lofty chairs that Fannie & Freddie were fine and Franklin Raines was its savior. Franklin Raines, the chief Obama economic adviser, oversaw the biggest accounting fraud in world history. On top of it, he walked away scott free and with $90M of the publics money. This accounting fraud made Enron look like a lemonade stand folding up. We can't touch him though because the dems will scream racism, when the man is simply a high priced crook. This country needs to get its act in gear. Govt is not the answer, it is the problem. Obama talks about smarter govt, but he doesn't understand that there is no such thing. Our founding fathers deliberately wanted limited govt. Even the most social minded politician of the day understood that large govt is tyrannical govt. Barack Obama says Americans don't want govt to fix all their problems, yet he specifically said that they do to Bill O'Reilly. I almost fell off my chair when I heard it. This guy is a Michael Moore commie. Ask yourself if you will really be better under an Obama financial system? Look in the mirror and tell yourself eye to eye that it is the truth. I bet you cannot do it... Folks, you are missing the point here. People talk about the last 8 years like it was a Russian winter. I'm in real estate. I saw this bubble coming 3 years ago. Right about the time that the dems were telling us to live Fannie and Freddie alone. The last 18 months have been hard, but that is the way markets work. Artificially holding them up is never the answer. To answer those who say Obama can't effect things before he is in office is ignorant. The markets look down the road and see what they think is coming. When Obama started doing well, the market crashed. McCain is now doing well and the market is rebounding. Not a hard case to make. Going back to the days of Lyndon Johnson and FDR are not going to move this country ahead economically.
