Me and my mom have recently sponcered two chilren from this site http://www.apacschool.com/thesisterschool.htm ( wich is my cousins) It is only 35 dollars a year to sponcer a child for a year. I really want to get into another safe orginization like this and is woundering if anyone of a place likee this. I dont feel safe enought to donates to world visions or any big corporation. Plus i want to become more involved .basically what i am asking is .. - small origization to become involved in -does not cost that much money -perhaps a person in goin to africa or somthin lookin for support -or knows of a person going to africa or another poverty place -what orginization are you in? I'm a journalism major. I'm debating whether or not to minor in anthropology. It would cost me probably about $2000 extra in tuition and possibly an extra semester....I just wonder if it's worth it..? What do you think?

Hi, I have my 8 month old in an in home daycare and this week she pushed me too far. I have decided to start my baby in another daycare asap. In fact I found one that I can start her next week! Now my question is should I give my current day care provider 2 weeks or should I just call her and say she is done? The reason I don't feel I should give her 2 weeks is because last week she told me to call her Tuesday morning about what time I was bringing her that day. I called her Tuesday morning and she said oh i have plans and am nto available anymore. (basically canceled last minute. and I had already paid her for the week.) She proceded to tell me she would not refund my money nor would she be open the next day. I told her that wasn't fair because she had canceled on me so I should get my money back. Technically even if I canceled I should not have had to pay because according to the contract I have 5 free days that I haven;t used. Overall I guess I feel she is the one that broke contract so I shouldn't have to give her notice but I want another opinion. No where in the contract does it say give 2 weeks notice before quiting, but it does say 2 weeks notice before vacation. Thanks! Tracy Also shoudl I just forget my babies extra stuff at daycare or should I try to stop and get it? I hate confrontation!! None of it is that huge of a deal but it would be nice to get it back. One way I thought was to have her sons bring it to school possibley.... (I am a teacher..) but didn't know if that was a good idea or not.

I wanted a Microsoft Wireless adapter for my x-box 360 elite this christmas but, i didnt get it. No big deal i have some money I have saved up and i was gonna buy it...but when i went to Amazon.com i realized that they had a Linksys (which is the same as my router) adapter for Half the price. I have herd that they work the same and there is no real difference but with such a price change I have no reason NOT to be skeptical.

I have a Nikon D50 (of course one of the only cameras w/o Commander Mode) and I have a few queries about using Nikon's Creative Lighting System Wirelessly. I have $210 now and I need to control multiple speedlights wirelessly but without spending too much money (I'm 15 so I don't have a job yet.) I was originally going to buy an SB 800 so I could put it on a stand and set it off wirelessly, BUT, say I buy 1 SB 800, does the flash come off so I could use it seperately as a controller and a flash? or will I have to buy an SU 800 and a seperate flash. I've heard that the con of buying an SB 800 as a controller, is that you have to use it as a flash and a controller. I want to buy a few more speedlights in the future (within like 7 months) so I will probably make my own ring light using a speedlight. so if you've read this far, wow. yay. -pat on the back- any and all suggestions are welcomed! thanks!

i have a canvas card, basically you put on your own money. i have had money refunded to this card before through paypal. i sold something through ebay and have a balance of 40 dollars on paypal. should this automatically put itself on my card. if so how long will it take?. because when i checked the ATM about 12 hours after the transaction nothing was there. i CANNOT use the withdrawel thingy because a canvas card isnt with a bank. YOU BUY IT FROM A SERVO AND PUT YOUR MONEY ON IT. i need answers.
