Financial talk

Well in most situations I have it under control, but there are certain stressors or life changes that can trigger it. A week ago I started an internship for grad school working 40 hours a week, plus taking two night classes (and everything else), I had a feeling this might be a catalyst, and I was right on. The problem is, the Psychiatrist I was going to told me he was leaving to go to London for the year to practice, and he had to leave in a week and a half. Also, he cut me allot of financial breaks, the referrals he gave me were good, but hundreds of dollars over what I can or am willing to pay for 15 min session where he refills my two scripts and sends me away:) (I also do individual counseling with a therapist) I have ten more weeks of this, there is no way I am going to be able to get through it without my medication and I don't know where to go or what to do. It has to be something I can afford and with someone who trusts me. (I tried local and community agencies but I am not nearly a priority). So I live around Toledo, Bowling Greeen, Findley, all in Ohio. If anyone knows of anyone, or has any resources or guidance to pass along, Im all ears! Thanks! 3 weeks ago Additional Details Oh I forgot to mention the treatment I am recieving now is working great (but then its all ive had) I go to therapy once a week with a counselor, then i see the psychiatrist once a month for 15 min. We talk, then he gives me my two scripts, lexapro and xanax. It seems to be working really well, then again, the chances of me finding that again are slim, and maybe something would work better. But why fix what isnt broken:)

here's the WHOLE story... we met online...we have been chatting for a few days and we decided to set up a breakfast meeting for saturday morning... things were still going along, texting, iming, etc., on friday morning he texts me saying he has to cancel because he was having some financial issues and he couldnt go out until he gets paid next. i text back saying its ok i understand. now he has been a little standoffish. so i asked him besides the money (because i have no reason to assume hes lying about it) is it something i said that is making him not want to go out. he assured me its not. but he is still being a little weird. do i give him a second chance if he sets up another date? and i should def wait for him to contact me now instead of me texting or iming him first, right? that way i know if hes interested or not. im afraid though of not contacting him if hell think im some matertialistic girl who is pissed he had no money, which isnt the case at all! someone help im driving myself mad!

Need advice bad. about drug use. best answer ten pts.? what does it mean when someone substitutes? (in the drug world) my friend got caught by his parents with marijuana and oxycodone. He didn't use too too much, but I'd say a few times a week. Nothing like over the top. background info: He did it because he wanted to get rid of his pain. He is 6'3, 150lbs. His whole family besides his mom is super thin and tall. He grew over a foot in a year when he was younger where he had problems with his ankles because he grew too fast. He played lots of hockey from age 4-18. He was knocked down voer and over and over in hockey. Now his hips hurt him extremely and he has seen doctors and pain specialists but cant pin point anything. He ended up stealing some things from his parents home to get money. They think he does cocaine. But he doesnt. and he didnt get tons of money for what he stole. his parents sent him to be evaluated by a psychiatrist to see what to do. the psychiatrist determined he substituted becuase he wasnt getting treated correctly. The guy also said that taking 3 PM tylenols is worse than a 40mg oxycodone and that he needs to see a different doctor and get better medicine. The psychiatrist also told him he has hope and he is completly normal for what he is doing becuase he isnt getting adequate meds. He has a tox screening in a week. To see if he is abusing it. So a few questions I have are: How long does a tox usually take? Are they gunna do a pee test or blood? What is substitution? Any other comments about this. NO NEGATIVE ONES. Or ones saying "thank god hes getting help" i know that already. I just want comments saying waht will happen next, etc. THANKS, best answer.

so i hv this work issue. i'm 20 n currently just working again as a preschool teacher (i was working before for only three days and drop out bcoz i can't stand the job). so bcoz the boss needed more teacher n she pretty like me, she always asked me to come work again. i accepted her offer simply bcoz of my family. bcoz of global crisis, my fams who was before a rich family now became pretty poor. i had to sell my car n my house which i hv been living for 13years. i hv to, at least, work for a year or two. but i can't. i hate the fact i hv to clean and lift so many heavy equipments. i feel embarrassed. this job also very tiring, bcoz i hv to be so active and talk so loud. and one of the senior always saying bad things about me behind my back. i always crying for this. i want my family happy and i don't want them to be embarrassed just bcoz their daughter couldn't work. but the pressure just keep coming. i think i'm depressed bcoz i always think i'm useless, i'm a trash, and i wanna die. what i really wanna do is acting, but again, there's money involved. i went to this audition and the juries like me very much and they said my acting's pure and that i hv big talent in acting. but i hv to forget it bcoz of my family's condition. i wanna go to college too, but bcoz again of money, i hv to stop dreaming. meanwhile all my friends went to college. i was taking a very wrong step two years ago when i was graduated from high school, my parents asked if i want to go to college, but i refused it saying i only want to go study abroad, but my parents won't let me. tell me what should i do? how to keep the burden away from me? how to fix my two years ago mistake? at least how to deceive my mind?? how to enjoy my job?? P.S. i'm a christian and i prays everyday to God and always be positive about everything. but there's just no spirit and the burdens keep weighing me. i always cries three or four times a day.

I know there Are some places for me to work. But, most of them aren't convenient for me. Anyone know where/ how i can get a job at my age?

I play the drums and my younger brother plays the bass guitar (and soon elec guitar too). He bought me something for my birthday a few months ago, and his is coming up in Sept. Are there any cool effects or accessories for bass guitar that you can suggest for me to surprise him with? We mostly play rock, and some hard rock. Money isn't too tough right now, maybe less than 300 or 500 though. Any ideas or websites to link to? Or just personal experience?

I bought an 88 Camaro for little money. I then had my mechanic of 3 years begin to fix the car. Right way the car needed a new fuel pump. Was replaced and took about 5 hours. Another problem was a fan that wasn't working on the motor. I waited for six weeks before any work was done to the car. Two days ago, I told him I wanted a bill or I wanted him to finish the car asap. He agreed to work on the car. Today I received a $842 bill! I don't have the bill in front of me but I do remember some details. I remember I was charged for 6 hours of labor, totalling $240. I'm guessing the fuel pump was about $150. I know a fan had to have some adjustments made. Could this cost $400? I know basic maintenance was done to the car, but he didn't even change the oil. I know it's hard to comment because I don't have all the specifics in front of me. I didn't have a chance to really look at the bill today because I had to take the car to another mechanic. See, the brakes on the car were absolutely horrible. I can lie with suspension and other issues but I definitely need brakes. Like I said, my bill was $842. I gave him $400 cash and told him he would get the rest Monday. Now that I am thinking about it, I'm pretty sure he will be more likely receiving a $200 check. 6 weeks is a long time to have your car worked on. Wouldn't you agree?

I REALLY want to play the drums, but I need a way to make money. I KNOW that my parents don't have a lot of money right now and I'm not about to ask them to just give me hundreds of dollars for something I don't even know i'll be good at. I would feel like a shit head. I can't babysit or do paper route because 1. Nobody would trust me to watch their kid because I'm only 13. 2. The people who deliver the paper just drive around in vans now so..... ----- I have no idea how I can make money. I've tried garage sales, but now I'm out of stuff to sell. I've also tried to make jewelry...but it kept breaking. How can I make money??

is coming up and i love buying presents(: i adore it its one of my favorite things to do. Hes set on buying me a build-a-bear and jokingly i threatened to get him one. Well while i was online i stumbled across a Tx Rangers build-a-bear. dressed up in the uniform,cleats,bat and all(super cute) and i automaticly knew i had to get it,though he would think it was lame. But while we were in fossil he stumbled across a wallet he adored,and i saw by the way his eyes lit up he loved it. So i went ahead and bought it without him knowing. So my plan is by the bear. Put 100$ in the wallet then put it in a little box and rap it up cute with a bow and place it imbetween the bears legs. How does that sound? Were 15 so i figured i can still pull off the stuffed animal thing as long as i soften him up with the wallet and money(: what do you think?any ideas?

i had this idea: when you go out you carry two wallets, one in the normal location a wallet is carried, and load it with counterfeit money and no form of identification; and the other wallet in an inconspicuous location with your real money in it. you give them the one with counterfeit money in it. would this work? would this put the thief in his place when he goes to spend the money or opens the wallet later only to realize its not real; plenty of time for you to run away.

Without you know *cough*. -_________- I've just signed up for paper run although I'm not quite sure how much it pays yet and also doing the dishes for my mum for $30 a month. =) I was wondering if there is any other ways to make money that isn't lemonade stands (no one really buys it) or selling my own stuff? The reason I need the $230 is to buy a gift for my mother for her Birthday since every year I just hand-make stuff for her and I thought it would be nice if I bought her something she really wanted for a change. Its hard taking care of 4 kids (my dads working as a doctor in another country).
