Open Question: Does getting a degree make you dumber?
So many people here think Obama supporters are dumb, but how does that jibe with the fact that Obama does better among voters with degrees?
"...those with college and postgraduate educations are just as strongly skewed toward Barack Obama."

Does getting a degree make you dumber? If so, then why do people with degrees make almost double what people without degrees?
"The survey found that adults 18 and older with a bachelor's degree earned an average of $51,554 in 2004, compared to $28,645 for those with only a high school diploma.
Those with advanced degrees did even better, taking home an average of $78,093 a year."

So why do degree earners heavily favor Obama?
Oops, the parser grabbed that end parenthsesis, here's the fixed link for the Gallup poll.

todbod, the Gallup link has some info relating the the effect Jeremiah Wright had as well. It's from April 9th.
So if:
1. Degrees make you stupider.
2. Businesses pay more for people with degrees.
Therefore, businesses seek stupid people.
Sounds like you think businesses are stupid. Doesn't sound like you believe in Capitalism, which is the American way.
Therefore, you are Unamerican! QED!
(Yes, this argument is a bit silly, but less silly than the idea that degrees make you stupid.)
Hey, The Sh*t, if you went to college you'd realize that anecdotal evidence is worthless.
