Open Question: Does my child support go up if my ex has more children with another man?
I have a child with my ex. My ex lives in CA and I live in another state. I have been told by my lawyer in CA that if my ex-girlfriend has more children, even though it's with another man, that my child support payments will go up. Conversely, I was also told that if I have children with my now wife, my child support will go down. Can anyone please help shed light on this and if so, can you provide an idea of how money it might go up or down by? Thanks.
