Open Question: Dress problem 9 days to wedding?
I have just heard from my mother, who ordered her dress at the beginning of March, that her dress has finally arrived (3 weeks later than we were told it would) and the dress shop called her and the dress is in the wrong color - instead of the gorgeous indigo blue she ordered it is brown.
Now we are 9 days out, we can't find this dress anywhere off the rack and the dress shop says that all they can do is refund her her money. I don't know what to do, but after all the problems I know I will never use or recomend this store again.
Any suggestions on what to do 9 days before the wedding??

Since you asked it was the House of Brides location in Aurora, Illinois.
However, I would not suggest them as a whole company as I had a problem with the Schaumburg, IL store ordering me discontinued dresses and then blaming me for picking them.
They also have an online nationwide store, however, I would urge to stay away. If they can't get it right in thier actual stores I can only image what happens to those who ordr online.
