Open Question: economic stimulus refund?
i meet the guidelines to get the economic stimulus refund. i used the calculator on the irs' website however it says i will only receive $300. i thought single w/ no children got $600? i was just curious. also, i heard that next yr well b taxed for this or possibly even expected to pay back the full amount. i was told this was done in the 70's and the gov't made everyone pay back their money. just little rumors floating around.
