Open Question: Fashion show!!!!!! I am invited to a huge red carpet fashion show and I have no idea on what to wear!?

I have never been to something this big before and I don't own any really nice dresses. It would be easy if I was a size 3 but I'm not. The big event is in about a week and I am short on time and money! I am FREAKING OUT!!!!! please help.
