Open Question: First time doing a Fantasy Baseball draft, auction style, how much $ should I allocate to each position?
It's my first time doing a fantasy baseball draft. We're doing it auction style, where you get $350, and you have to assemble a team of 28 players.
I want to know what a good strategy is, how much money should I spend on certain positions, etc...
The League has 12 owners, with 28 players on each team:
2 - C - (1 is a reserve)
2 - 1B - (1 is a reserve)
2 - 2B - (1 is a reserve)
2 - SS - (1 is a reserve)
2 - 3B - (1 is a reserve)
1 - CI (1b or 3b, will start)
1 - MI (2b or ss, will also start)
6 - OF (2 of the 6 are reserves)
8 - SP (3 of the 8 are reserves)
3 - RP - (1 of the 3 is a reserve)
1 - Wild card, any position you want, pretty much an extra bench player
I want to spend my money right, and not get caught spending too much or too little. Most sites on the internet have projected prices for players, but they are for the normal $260 leagues. I want to have a balanced team. Can anyone help please!!
