I have excessive throat mucus, I'm constantly clearing my throat and losing my voice. My voice is necessary both as a professional singer and speaking on my day job. I've already been to doctors and they all think it's acid reflux, except none of the acid reflux medicine prescribed ever cleared up the mucus. They refuse to give me anything to treat the mucus because they don't wont to treat the symptom without knowing what is causing it. I've had my throat scoped by an ENT and he found nothing wrong, then a cat scan for my sinuses to make sure there's no tumor. I would have my stomach scoped, but I'm out of money. Benedryl helps sometimes, but it doesn't last very long and makes me really sleepy. Musinex thins it out a little, but doesn't help a great deal, plus I have to be drinking water constantly to see any results. Are there any other drying meds that would help? Thank you..
