Financial talk

Hiya, I'm planning to go travelling at some point (I'm 20 so I guess I have up to three years at the maximum) and I'm just asking how much money do you think would be a good amount to save?(Currency: Pound Sterling) I have about £6000 saved and I plan to live as a backpacker spending little money as possible, probably about £20-£25 at the minimum per day if possible. Anybody got any ideas? The idea of being deported back to my country for having no money for the travel as a strange, warped appeal to it but I would hate to get seriously in debt. Thanks for any help!
