i started looking for my 1st apartment , i found a nice 3 bedroom, i met with the landlord and after 2 weeks i called him and asked him has he made a decision on who he was going to rent the apt to because i had gotten approved for another apt but i liked his better, he told me he would call me the next day he did and told me to bring in my sec deposit 1.5 i gave him 2025, i later realized i had not signed a lease yet so i called him and he said he wanted to wait for the tenants to move out first, so i accepted that a couple of days later i saw the for rent sign still outside so i asked my sister to call and act as if she was interested he said it was still avail i called and asked him what was going on i went off, i gave him an ultimatum either my money or the lease, he had the lease the same day to sign im supposed to move in on the 1st today is the 24th and the tenant has not moved out yet what do i do, do i have to pay the full amount of rent on the 1st or does it get retroed
