Open Question: i got scammed by mcfee advisors, is there anything i can do to them legally?
i am desperate for a loan and mcfee advisors contacted me and said i could get $10,000 loan with a $1,000 security deposit because it was a secure loan and i have very bad credit. so i sent them $1,000 and when the money wasn't deposited into my account i called them and they said i needed to send an additional $775 because i was approved for another loan from another company. they then gave me another name to send the payment attention to. now their phone number has changed and i have no way of getting in contact with them to get my money back, not like i really expect to. is there anything that can be done so i can get my money back? is there anything that i can do so this doesn't happen to someone else who is desperate for a loan like me? i had two other companies contact me with offers for a secure loan, the first one i had to send them $1,000 by that evening and the second company wanted me to send $2,000. can you really get a secure loan like that or is it always a scam?
