Open Question: i lent someone i wrk w/ a lot of money and she wont pay me back, nothng in wrtng, do i have a case?
i have become friends w/ this girl at work this past year, and i lent her almost 1000 dollars and now she wont pay me back,. i was really surprised at her change of everything and now, of course we are enemies. she is telling people at work i am threatning her and she is scared of me. she just spent a couple years in prison a convicted felon! and she is afraid of me, i have never even been in jail. what recourse do i have if any to 1st) try to collect my money, and stop the rumours. it has already cost me time from work (not being scheduled) Help please, that is a lot of money for someone to get by with not paying back.
