Financial talk

I was supposed to appear in court this morning on a wrongfull eviction case. Over the weekend I got hurt and the wound became very seriously infected with a staff infection. I was in the ER till after 5am & am taking very strong pain killers & antibiotcs. I began calling the court clerks the minute they opened and explained my situation and she said there was nothing she could do. Because of my not appearing in I'm sure I have lost by default. Can any body help me? On a fixed income & no money for a lawyer
