Open Question: I need help with the introduction of my essay on Merchant of venice?
The essay has to prove that money, rather than any character is the villan of the play. My thesis statement that i came up with was In The Merchant of Venice, money is the villain of the play because it leads Bassanio to seek out Portia for wealth and not love, it almost gets Antonio killed and destroys Shylock's life, and it ruins Shylock's relationship with his daughter Jessica. I understand how to do the body paragraphs because i love proving my points, but i lack the ability to make an introduction that sounds godd. please help. and no i'm not asking because i'm lazy and want someone to do it for me.
