Open Question: Joining Curves, the fitness program, alongside cardio…is it guaranteed that I’ll loose some weight?

I have a chance to go free for a month to Curves, which is great and all but gas prices are killing me! I don't have a number in mind or anything about how many pounds that I want to lose, but if I had to, I'd say about 15 pounds so I could be somewheres around 135 [I'm 150ish now]. But if I'm happy before then, I'd stop. I've already started on a small diet, just limiting portions, and I started running and walking everyday. Also, I've been running a mile and then walking a mile every other day.uld like to be happy with my size, or down 15ish pounds, in 4-6 weeks from now. Mind you, it doesn't have to be 15 pounds, I'm pretty laid back about that. But their promise of up to 500 calories in a half an hour? Granted, I'm not that large and I'm strong enough already, I'd only burn like, half that. It would still be pretty cool though, just that it's almost a town and a half over. I'm just very short on money, otherwise I'd join my old gym. So, is Curves worth it?
