Financial talk

i met this guy a while back & my dad had been wanting to meet him. i always gave him a hard time about it because i know how my dad is. always quick to judge ppl. he gave me this whole lecture about how doesnt do that and its wrong to do that. well when it came down to it he started asking me questions about him first and just by the comments he was making he was already judging him and not liking him so knew it wasnt gonna go well. well one of the questions he asked was his age. (hes 29, im 21) i know thats a big difference in age but to me age is just a number. well after i told him he starts yelling at me telling me to never talk to him again and to tell him to stay away from me. now ive never been so happy with someone before and i feel like im in love with him. but t my dad none of that matters, hes even told me to be with someone that has money so its like my happieness doesnt matter. do you think my dad is right telling me who i can and cant date? what should i do?
