Financial talk

My husband no longer wants me but does not seem to want to pay me off either. I cannot afford to live elsewhere unless I get my settlement from the equity in our house. And as he seems reluctant to sort the money for me I am at a stalemate. He has bad credit rating and I am concerned he will not be able to re-mortgage to pay me off. How do I go about placing an order of sale on the property, which is in both our names? Would the house be sold for less than it's worth? I am scared and have no-one to turn to, no money for solicitors and cannot qualify for legal aid as I am above the earnings limit. I feel like ending it all.
