Financial talk

so my car has very big machanical probs and i want to get a car, i am the one who makes more money in the house and we are getting married in two months the thing is, is that i want to get a new car cause mine could lose a tire and then i die in a crash, eh insistes that i should wait until after the wedding to get a new car that way we dont have to worry about unexpected $ issues before the wedding. am i beingmean by telling him he isnt taking my needs into consideration. i mean i still have my very first car and last winter my heat went out my ac dosent work and i have amjor machanical work that needs done, i think i diserve a new car i think i owe it to myself for all that i have achived. what do you think. (he also has a new car he got last august and he had an s10 before that that he got in an accedent with) i think he forgets how hard it is to have a car that can break any sec. i do plan on trading in it says i should get atleast 920 for it and i want a toyota yaris i know its forgin but it is waht i feel comfy to afford its only 14,700 and it has alot of features that other cars costs to much i am getting a new 2008 with all warrenties it will take 2000 atleast to fix it, i payed 1300 for it and have already put almost 700 into it, so really its not worth putting any more into it when its only worth 920
