Open Question: What should I do?
I lend my friend 800 dollars about year ago. I think it was in June or July. His mother promise to pay me back. See I'm the type of person who people call "too nice." I don't like to pressure people. My friend know this becaue we're like brothers. He also know I struggle with money; we both go to the same college. I always have to give the majority of my refund checks to my mother to help her with bills. He know all this, and sometimes he would call me ask if he can borrow five dollars or accuse me of owing him money. Things I'll be embrasses to ask if I owed someone 500 dollars (his moms paid me back 300 so far). Everytime I would see his mother she would say that she havn't forgot about my money, but she doesn't even say this anymore. She recently purchase a 2007 or 2008 Chrystler 300 around Feberuary, around the same time she was to pay me off, but it never happen ( the same thing happen like in August). One time I even sat him down and told him to tell his moms, and when I ask him about it, he said he forgot. It has almost been a year. He has a job now, and he has yet to mention my money. I guess I expect too much. Like I said he KNOWs I don't like too pressure people, and I feel he's taking advantage of that. I shouldn't feel like the bad guy, but for some reason I do. What should I do?
