Open Question: Blessings?
Ok so everyones always talking about blessings as in the material things that they recieve in life. Or I always hear celebrities on award shows or when they refer to their lifestyle say: "this is a blessing" or "Im just so blessed." My question is why are people in America always talking about material things as a blessing when there are innocent born children and povished people through out the world starving or dying for political reasons in their country? Are the starving kids in Africa not blessed? Why would God bless some typical singer, actress, or money sucking business man/women with riches and awards when he can bless a million starving people with food, clean water, and a safe place to rest their head at night. It makes me sick to my stomach to hear actresses and singers talk this way. To think that God cares about some piece of metal for acting or singing, or to care about someone living lavish before God blesses the poor with basic living needs. What do you think?
Like I always hear people like dumb a** Beyonce or some actress say: Im am so blessed." How stupid to think that a piece of man made metal is a blessing is from God.
