Open Question: Boston schools?
i am most likely going to be attending Boston University in the fall, my friend really wants to go to Boston also; however, she is going to have to stay close to home(in texas) for at least her first year because her parents are pressuring her to stay and for financial reasons. What are some colleges and universities in boston that are good schools, affordable, or offer good financial aid? My friend worries that she will not even be accepted or given enough financial aid because she was basically an average student and she has always focused more on sports, like track and cc in which she did really well. I really appreciate any help or advice that you have. also, is it harder to get financial aid and scholarships if your applying as a transfer student?
