Open Question: Can anyone recommend a bank or motgage company for 1st time homebuyers in NJ?
I have a list of 25 lenders "approved" for the NJ smart start program and I have no idea who to choose. All I know is that I do not care for the bank/lender im working with from allied financial and wanted to know if anyone else in nj have worked with a mortgage co. recently and would recommend them as friendly, customer focused, truely has the best interest of the borrower , anything like that? I really don't like being treated as a credit score and not like a consumer who is about to make a life changing decision, buying a home.
