Financial talk

i go to a private school and we have a banquet not a prom lol because its so small. anyways i dont have a bf so one of my guy friends who went there (he had to leave in the mid of the yr due to financial problems) asked me to go with him. and he said that he got me a really pretty corsage... is a corsage meant for just bf/gf or would it be appopriate for me to wear one? ps. i know that he used to have a crush on me, but i dunno how he feels about me now lol i just want to be friends... should i still accept the corsage? sorry im not familiar with the tradition of corsages and what not this is a senior prom fyi... excuse me, i mean banquet lol and ive never been to a dance before... long story, just dont ask
