Open Question: Help with email received 6-5-08 from a prizenoticecentre@gazeta.pl if Yahoo/MSN award winnings is email fraud?
I received an Award letter and an Affidavit of Winnings from Yahoo!UK & Ireland stating my email address was selected as one of 6 winners and am supposed to "pay" money to Barclay's Bank in London via Western Union to "get" my award! I am NOT convinced it is legitimate. Please put me in touch with the right Yahoo and/or MSN people to confirm, question, research. Western Union advised not to "pay" money to "get" money! Supposedly, deadline to claim is 6-20-08...I must get response ASAP. Thank you so very much.
