Open Question: Soldiers , Veteran Soldiers , Please Help! Do I Enlist???
Im 19 on aug 2nd. Im currently in school and in the late entry progam and set to ship out to Fort Benning in Georgia , on Nov.11 for Airborne Infantry after i graduate school. My Girlfriend who i been with for 4 years is planning on joining too. The plan was to get married , ship out together , and be stationed with eachother under the Army Martial Program. Then i saw the "Before You Enlist" Video on youtube , and it made me rethink. It stated that you barely get any college money , you can only use it when in service , and the worst , that ALOT of the woman in the military are raped and abused. Please someone speak of personal experience , i do not want my future wife hurt , and i want to know the truth about the college money and the things the recruiters dont tell you. Please , your answer may reflect my decesion , which may reflect my life. please help.
