Open Question: Who do YOU think has the reason?
Mother and Daughter story. Two years ago: the daughter would always, always ask for an ipod, for the longest time. The mother bought a brand new ipod that was a totally of $300 for the daughter. In about three months, the daughter loses it. A year ago, the mother bought a phone for $75, and gave it to her daughter. Sadly, in about a month, it gets stolen at school, and is never recovered. Last Christmas, a very generous aunt of the daughter, bought her another ipod. Then recently, the daughter gets invited to spend some time with another aunt in the morning for breakfast. There wasn't anything to eat at the house, so the daughter goes, taking both her younger siblings. Once the daughter gets home, the mother becomes immediately infuriated, after finding out she had left without permission. The daughter's excuse is, she forgot. She tells her mother sorry. The mother starts to talk about how that was dangerous, what if something happened to them. It's obvious that she must punish the daughter. The mother then grabs the ipod, and breaks it. The daughter tries to calm the mother down. The mother tells her, "It didn't cost me money. The one I bought you cost me $300." That's my friends story. And, I'd just like to hear some of your opinions. Be truthful, and also explain why you think either of them has the reason.
